Where your students' phone numbers are kept

Finding them in Cronenta

Open Clients in the menu. Every student you’ve added or imported is in that table, with their phone number in the Phone column, next to their name, email, licence stage and G2 date.

A student you’ve deleted drops out of the default view. Pick deleted from the status filter to see them again.

To take a copy away with you, go to Settings and choose Download a copy of your data. The phone numbers are in the clients.csv file inside the zip.

Where the data is stored

In Canada. The Cronenta app and its database run on Amazon Web Services in Montréal (the ca-central-1 region).

There is one exception you should know about. Text messages are sent and received through Twilio, which is in the United States. So when Cronenta texts a student, their phone number and the message text pass through Twilio to reach the phone carrier.

The privacy policy lists every outside service Cronenta uses and what each one handles.

Removing a number for good

Deleting a student keeps their record. To remove the phone number itself, delete the student, then use Erase permanently. That step can’t be undone. Exporting or deleting your data walks through both steps.
