An appointment type is a bookable service: a lesson, a road-test prep session, whatever you offer. It’s also where price and cancellation policy live. On the Appointments screen, set:
- Name, calendar, duration (15–240 minutes), price
- Buffer time before and after, so back-to-back bookings don’t collide
- Visibility: Public (shown on your booking page) or Private (bookable only by you)
- Location, and optionally an intake form or a document (see Documents) for a student to fill out or read before booking
Two optional fields set your cancellation policy, both in hours before the appointment: a no-refund window and a reschedule cutoff. Leave either blank and that appointment type has no policy for it. A student can cancel or reschedule free, any time. Each appointment type sets these independently, so a road test can carry a stricter window than a regular lesson.
